Official UPI & Payment Policy

1. Exclusive Payment Method: Official Shop UPI QR Code

To guarantee zero transaction surcharges and fast, direct payments, Punnagai Toy Store accepts payment exclusively through our official merchant UPI QR code and UPI ID. We do not use third-party payment gateways or online card processors, nor do we accept credit cards, debit cards, net banking, or pay-on-delivery.

Accepted UPI Apps

You can make payments using any UPI-enabled mobile app, including:

• Google Pay (GPay)
• PhonePe
• Paytm UPI
• BHIM UPI
• Cred UPI
• Any official bank UPI mobile application (SBI YONO, HDFC, ICICI iMobile, Axis, etc.)

How Checkout & Verification Work

1. Scan & Pay: During website checkout, scan our official Yes Bank UPI QR code or copy our UPI ID, and pay the exact total order amount from your UPI app.
2. Screenshot Proof: Take a clear screenshot of your completed UPI payment showing the transaction amount, date, and reference/UTR number.
3. Upload & Submit: Attach your screenshot in the payment proof dropzone at checkout and enter your 12-digit UTR reference number.
4. Reconciliation & Packing: Our store manager verifies the receipt against our merchant account, reserves your toys, and prepares your order for in-store pickup at our Mylapore counter.

2. Transparent Pricing

All product prices at Punnagai Toy Store are displayed in Indian Rupees (₹). The price shown on our website catalogue and on our in-store price tags is the final retail price inclusive of all applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST). There are no additional gateway fees, service taxes, or processing charges added at checkout.

We strive to keep our prices accurate and up to date on our website; however, our in-store price is the definitive and binding price for any transaction. In the event of a discrepancy between the website price and the in-store price, the in-store price prevails. If you have questions about a specific product's price, please contact us via WhatsApp before visiting.

Prices are set to be fair and competitive for the quality of products and the personalised service we offer. We are a small, independent family store, and we appreciate your support in choosing us.

3. Pre-Booking & Counter Payment

Our WhatsApp Pre-Booking Service is completely free and requires no advance payment. When you pre-book a product via WhatsApp, you are reserving the item — not purchasing it. No deposit, booking fee, or advance payment of any kind is required or requested.

When you visit our Mylapore store to collect your pre-booked items, payment is completed by scanning our official shop counter UPI QR code.

Because no money changes hands at the time of pre-booking, there is no financial risk to you. If you decide not to collect or purchase the reserved item, simply let us know via WhatsApp — no cancellation charge will ever be applied.

We will never ask for personal bank transfers, gift cards, or payments to personal accounts. Official payments must always be made to our verified merchant UPI ID: MAB0451035A0089284@Yesbank.

4. Receipts & Transaction Proof

A valid receipt is provided for every purchase made at Punnagai Toy Store:

• Instant UPI Digital Receipt: Every UPI payment generates an instant, tamper-proof digital receipt within your UPI app showing the Bank Reference / UTR number.
• Physical Store Bill: A printed shop invoice is handed to you when you collect your order at our Luz Bazar counter.
• WhatsApp Digital Copy: On request, our store team will send a digital photograph of your invoice to your WhatsApp number.

We strongly recommend keeping your receipt and UTR reference number in a safe place. Receipts are required for all eligible exchanges and warranty claims.

5. GST (Goods & Services Tax)

All prices displayed on the Punnagai Toy Store website and in-store include applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) as per current Indian taxation laws. GST on toys in India falls under standard government slabs, and our pricing is always fully GST-compliant.

The GST component of your purchase is included in the total price you pay — you will not be charged any additional tax at the time of purchase. The price displayed is the price you pay.

GST Invoice on Request

If you require a formal GST invoice for business purposes or accounting, please let our staff know when collecting your order at our counter. We will provide a GST-compliant tax invoice with our business details, itemised breakdown, and applicable tax percentages.

6. No Gateway Surcharges or Hidden Fees

Because we operate exclusively via direct merchant UPI QR payments rather than commercial payment gateways, we charge:

• 0% Gateway Surcharges: No 2% or 3% card or gateway convenience fees.
• 0% Delivery Fees: All orders are collected in-person from our physical Mylapore shop.
• 0% Reservation Fees: Reserving toys for in-store collection is completely free.
• 0% Bag Fees: Standard packaging bags are provided at no extra charge.

Optional decorative gift wrapping may carry a nominal material charge disclosed prior to wrapping. No other hidden charges apply.

7. Payment Security & NPCI Protection

Your payment security is guaranteed through direct integration with the Unified Payments Interface (UPI):

• NPCI Encryption: All UPI transactions take place directly on the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) encrypted network between your bank and Yes Bank.
• No Third-Party Intermediaries: We do not route your funds through commercial payment gateways or card processors.
• No Sensitive Data Collected: We never ask for, see, or store your UPI PIN, banking passwords, OTPs, or debit/credit card numbers. Your UPI PIN is entered solely within your own bank-authorized UPI app.
• Fraud Protection: Verify that the payee name displayed in your UPI app says PUNNAGAI TOYS AND FANCY before entering your UPI PIN.
