Punnagai Toy Store is proudly a physical retail store located in the heart of Mylapore, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Unlike purely online toy retailers, we are a hands-on, walk-in shopping experience � our store is designed for families to come in, browse, touch, and discover the perfect toy together.

Our primary mode of fulfilling purchases is in-store collection. Customers visit us during our opening hours and take their purchases home the same day. We believe this in-person experience is special � it allows parents and children to explore the store, receive personalised recommendations from our staff, and leave with a beautifully wrapped gift ready to delight.

We also offer a WhatsApp Pre-Booking Service that allows you to reserve your chosen products before visiting, so they are waiting for you when you arrive. This ensures you don't make the trip only to find your item has sold out.

2. In-Store Collection

The simplest and most immediate way to get your Punnagai Toy Store purchase is to visit us in person. Our store is open six days a week and on Sundays, with generous opening hours designed to fit around school and work schedules.

When you visit the store:

Our WhatsApp Pre-Booking Service lets you secure a product before you visit the store, so you can shop with confidence. It is a free, no-deposit service � there is no financial commitment until you arrive and decide to purchase.

How to Pre-Book

1. Find the product you'd like on our website catalogue.
2. WhatsApp us at +91 75501 32101 / +91 72994 61657 with: the product name (or link), your name, and your intended collection day and approximate time.
3. Our team will check availability and, if the item is in stock, confirm your reservation via WhatsApp � usually within a few hours during store hours.
4. Visit the store within the 48-hour hold window to purchase and collect your item.

Reservation Hold Period

Pre-booked items are held for a maximum of 48 hours from the time your reservation is confirmed by our team. Please try to collect within this window. If you need more time � for example, due to travel or an emergency � please let us know via WhatsApp and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

After 48 hours without collection or contact, we reserve the right to release the held item back onto the shop floor. We will always try to send a reminder message before releasing your reservation.

No Deposit Required

We do not require any advance payment or deposit to hold a product. Your reservation is held in good faith. If you decide you no longer want the item, simply send us a WhatsApp message to cancel — there is no penalty or charge for cancellation.

4. No Delivery or Courier Service

Please note that Punnagai Toy Store operates strictly as an in-store pickup retail store. We do not offer home delivery, doorstep delivery, local courier, or shipping services under any circumstances.

All orders placed on our website or pre-booked via WhatsApp are held for direct in-person collection at our physical shop:

Customers, family members, or authorized representatives are warmly invited to visit our shop to inspect the toys, verify orders, and pick them up directly. There is never any delivery fee or handling charge for in-store collection.

5. Gift Wrapping

At Punnagai Toy Store, we know that presentation is part of the joy of giving. We offer a gift wrapping service in-store, so your toy arrives beautifully packaged and ready to delight the recipient � no extra wrapping needed at home!

Gift wrapping is available on request for any product purchased in our store. Simply let our staff know at the point of purchase that you'd like the item gift wrapped, and we will take care of it for you.

A small additional charge may apply for gift wrapping, depending on the size and complexity of the packaging. Our staff will let you know the applicable charge before proceeding. Gift wrapping options and materials may vary depending on availability.

If you would like to include a personalised gift message or greeting card with your purchase, please let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate. Custom messages may be handwritten on a card or tag � just provide the wording at the time of purchase.

If you are pre-booking an item for collection and would like it gift wrapped on arrival, please mention this in your WhatsApp message so we can prepare accordingly. Gift wrapping for pre-booked items is subject to availability and confirmation by our team.

6. Damaged Items on Collection

We take pride in the quality and condition of every product we sell. All items are stored and handled with care in our store. Before you leave our premises with your purchase, we encourage you to check the product packaging and, where visible, the item itself to ensure you are satisfied with its condition.

If you notice any damage to the packaging or the product at the time of collection, please bring this to the attention of our staff before leaving the store. We will:

• Inspect the item together with you
• Offer an exchange for an undamaged unit of the same product, where stock permits
• Offer a suitable alternative or store credit if an undamaged replacement is unavailable

We are unable to accept returns or process exchanges for damage that is reported after you have left the store, unless the damage was clearly caused by a manufacturing defect that was not visible at the time of collection. In such cases, please refer to our Return & Refunds Policy and contact us within 48 hours of purchase.

We handle all such situations with fairness and empathy � your satisfaction is important to us, and we will always do our best to find a satisfactory resolution.
